Welcome to our newly renovated, luxury log cabin nestled in the heart of the awe-inspiring Rhinog Mountains. Our cabin is situated on the edge of the world-class mountain-biking facility at Coed y Brenin and is a short drive to some of the most amazing walks and scenery that the UK has to offer.

Our cozy cabin can sleep up to 6 people between our double bedroom, bunk-bed room and double sofa bed, with freshly cleaned bed linens supplied for all our visitors. Our open-plan living area boasts ample cooking and dining space. Our kitchen has all the amenities that you’d expect such as fridge, small freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Our bathroom features a large shower cubicle, perfect for getting clean after climbing Snowden or surfing at Barmouth (both only 30 mins away - please bring your own towels).

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is a tranquil site featuring a well-equipped children’s play area and both a launderette and shop on-site. We are surrounded by attractions and activities suitable for all, from families to adrenaline-junkies. Medieval castles, sandy beaches, slate caverns, steam trains, downhill mountain biking, the highest mountain in Wales and and the world famous Italianate village of Portmerion (made famous in 'The Prisoner’) are all under 30 minutes drive away, and if you don’t fancy driving you can walk directly from the Holiday Village into the beautiful rolling greenery of the Welsh countryside.

We are a pet-friendly cabin (two dogs maximum please), and our raised decking area is fenced-in to ensure the safety of pets and small children since there is a babbling brook that runs through the garden space, providing a relaxing soundtrack to your evening drinks or al-fresco meals.

Located in Blaenau Ffestiniog, this cabin is in a rural area and near the beach. Torrent Walk and Mermaid Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Go Ape at Coed y Brenin and Zip World Llechwedd. Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and Hufenfa'r Castell are also worth visiting.

Our cosy, genuine Norwegian style LOG CABIN is situated in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, on the tranquil Trawsfynydd Holiday Village.
Outside our decking makes the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning views of the Rhinog mountains. The private garden is safe and ideal for children to play.
Off road parking with space for one car means your car is safe and away from other vehicles.
You are welcome to bring along two dogs, because we understand they are part of your family.

The cabin is double glazed and heated all year round. The inside comprises of large open plan lounge with comfortable seating for four. Recently installed flame effect electric fire, Dining table and four chairs and fully equipped, modern kitchen.
All bedding and towels are provided with the beds made up ready for your arrival, we also provide a basic welcome pack which includes 'hotel style' tea coffee sugar etc.
36" HD/LCD TV with freeview and DVD player.
Small selection of books & DVD's, are provided to beat the boredom on rainy days.
We DO NOT have Sky!
The Sky box is there to receive the Freeview signal only.
There is a small, functional shower room comprising of shower, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail as well as electric wall heater.

The cabin sleeps four between one double bed and two bunk beds which comfortably sleep adults and children alike. Both rooms have heating and storage. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is a secure gated decking safe for young children and pets. The decking also has a table and four chairs, with stunning views over to The Rhinog mountains.

Within the village there is a Reception which is staffed from 9am - 5pm daily and comprises of a well stocked shop and off licence, plus laundry facilities. There is also a children's play park with climbing frame & swings etc.
a recent addition to the village is Coed Cafe, bar/ cafe. There is a selective menu which includes an all day breakfast, a selection of beers and lagers on draught. Footie is shown on a large screen TV. Special events and themed evenings, with food severed and live entertainment, are held throughout the year.




As the cabin is situated in the mountains any WiFi signal in the cabin itself is very hit & miss. Free WiFi is available within the vicinity of reception until 9pm, with no password required.

Step back in time... our cabin was built with logs having well over a century of growth... tightly packed dense wood and so very warm. Experience nature on the Snowdonia National Park. The cabin is quite private and situated on the Trawsfynydd Holiday Village with its own bore hole natural water supply.
A very tranquil spot with an incredible vista of stars on a clear night (there is no ambient light permitted in the infrastructure of this exceptional space).. Superb!

The log cabin is hugely atmospheric being built from aged Norwegian logs and simply furnished to reflect the ambience.

A very intimate space for couples or small families.

We have a private rear garden that catches the early morning sun, a front porch for afternoon teas and a frontal patio in the garden.

We have our own private WiFi that is available for guests ... Password is available.

Gsm 4 G access is very good.

The cabin has overnight storage heating for the winter months along with additional daytime heating if required.
