Over Haddon is a small but very picturesque Peak District village, set peacefully amidst the rolling fields of the White Peak and located on a hill overlooking the beautiful Lathkill Dale. The village lies under 0.25 miles from the pretty market town of Bakewell (the home of the Bakewell pudding) and 4.5 miles to the stunning country estate of Haddon Hall. Wander through the pretty streets of Ashford in the Water (3 miles) or take a trip to Matlock and Matlock Bath (10 miles) to explore all of the independent shops, galleries and eateries. Chatsworth House and Gardens is only 6 miles and provides an unforgettable day out, don t forget to stop at the famous farm shop to stock up on some treats. Step into the entrance hall, where there s space to hang coats and store muddy boots, and wander through to the kitchen/diner.
