For little ones, there is a small children's play area in the garden with a Wendy house and sandpit, to keep them happy. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Helgon Lodge, but asked to respect house rules. Conveniently situated just a few minutes' walk away from the heart of the village where you will find a well-stocked village store, and the popular Ship Inn, which serves good food all day. The beach and coastal path is a fifteen minute walk or just a two minute drive down to the beach car park. The Coasthopper bus service runs through the village throughout the year, and stops at all the coastal villages from Cromer to Kings Lynn. There is so much to do here, a great place to enjoy the outdoors with beautiful woodland walks, cycle hire, tennis courts (small hourly charge payable on-site) and an outdoor swimming pool (open late May until early September) 10am - 6pm. For those who wish to keep fit there is a Fitness club open every day with one, three and seven day passes available at an extra cost, direct from the site. There are additional facilities in the pedestrian village area where you will find The Forge & Terrace restaurant and bar which offer a range of good food. Essential items and gifts can be purchased from the Village Shop, opening times vary in the winter months.
