Ar Fasgadh is a modern 3 bedroom timber clad lodge set within the grounds of Torbeg Country Lodges in Shiskine, Isle of Arran, The property was to a high standard and has an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, utility room and 3 bedrooms which comfortably sleep 7.
The lounge/kitchen /dining area is open plan and well furnished with Smart TV, Sky+ Satellite TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii and Wi-Fi. The dining area has an extendable table with seating for 8 and the kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker and hob, fridge and a dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, freezer and microwave with additional grill and fan oven facility.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with an ensuite shower room, Bedroom 2 has a double bed and Bedroom 3 has a triple bunk (double bed and single bed). There is a separate family bathroom with a bath and shower. A high chair and travel cot are available, on request.
The property has hard wood flooring throughout and is serviced by oil central heating.
There is also a heated store room with a tumble drier.There are a selection of sunloungers, windbreak and beach toys that you are welcome to use. This area is also suitable to store golf clubs. There is a bike shed at the side of the house, if required.

Even with the fine pictures and antique furniture, the emphasis is definitely on comfort with so many sofas and armchairs to choose from. The elegant hallway with the stairs to the accommodation level above leads off in two directions, one to the kitchen and the other to the games room. Accessed by steps, the games room is a large later extension, which houses a table tennis table. However it is more than a games room, with fine pictures on the wall and a feature carved fireplace with open fire, and by removing the table from the room, it can be a party room, for a drinks party, a ceilidh or a small wedding function. Access directly on to the lawn is available from here. Additionally, next door there is a snug room, with a TV and toys for smaller children.
The front-facing dining room houses a long dining table where everyone can sit around in comfort. With an open fire at one end and radiators throughout, this is a warm room, as well as an elegant one, with swag curtains, and family portraits and old prints on the walls. The kitchen is located to the rear of the house and is in two sections. Firstly there is a breakfast room with a dining table that can seat 14/16 people, and then there is the modest kitchen section, with well-equipped kitchen space, with 5-hob “Rangemaster”, grill and oven, as well as an extra oven to the side. Next door is the large utility room with freezer, with the laundry room beyond, with washing machines and tumble dryer.
The expansive grounds are great for children to relax in, whilst in summer croquet can be enjoyed too.

This magnificent detached Highland lodge Atlas, occupies a private setting in gated premises, which can only be accessed with a code allowing for complete privacy and security. The lodge has lovely open views across fields and farmland looking over the Moray Firth to the Black Isle and beyond. The garden area near Inverness is a wonderfully relaxing area with a fabulous hot tub and unusual 6-person barrel sauna, which is housed in a lit benched area with table for you to sit and enjoy the views while hopping in between the spa facilities. The garden area has been tastefully landscaped and is very much in fitting with the settings, it attracts a wealth of wildlife for you to watch. The lodge sleeps 8, car parking is free with the capacity to hold 4 cars at each lodge.
