There is plenty of space for children to run around, play games and ride bikes including two acre size paddocks which are perfect for a game of football or rounders.

Other things to note

The car park isn't far from the lodges however you are welcome to drive right up to them to unpack and then return your car to the car park afterwards.

Town: Placed in rural Northumberland between Morpeth and Alnwick, Felton is a must-visit. Alnwick, home of the largest cascading water feature in Europe as well as an immense tree house, a rose garden, and an attractive walled garden, is only ten miles from the village, which has its own shop with a post office, coffee shop, tavern, and restaurant. The castle is also well-known for its role as Hogwarts in the "Harry Potter" movie. It is a good size space even with the sofa bed down in bed position. It has a little patio which get the sun in the mornings and is ideal for breakfast or lunch outdoors.

It's a lovely, light space with big windows on all sides and black out curtains to keep the light out while sleeping. The sofa bed is a standard double size, but very long. It has a comfy mattress topper to ensure a good night's sleep.

This is Neolithic Central with the World Heritage Sites of Avebury (4.7km) and Stonehenge Stone Circles (32km) nearby. In addition are lesser known Neolithic sites of Silbury Hill and the West Kennett Long Barrow (both 4.5km) are also well worth a visit.

The area of Churston Ferrers is well regarded and known for being so close to its very popular golf course. The 18-hole course has stunning views of the Torbay coast and is just a half mile walk or ¾ mile drive. The property is also only a half mile walk or 1 mile drive to Churston station, which is on the Dartmouth Heritage Steam Railway. The steam train can even often be seen from the rear garden.
The fantastic Elberry Cove or Broadsands beaches are both equidistant at ½ mile away. The infamous fishing/harbour town of Brixham is only 2¼ miles up the road, where fresh fish restaurants are in abundance as well as the famous Golden Hind Museum Ship, which is permanently docked up for tourists to visit.
