This is a perfect getaway for two, imagine retreating for a romantic few days, the smell of the bbq, a gentle stroll up a nearby hill, or shoes off on the beach as the tide comes in. The Hedgerow Hut is open plan, with an adventurous double bed on a deck, accessed by ladder, where you can view the world through the glass front of the cabin. The deck alsow rises to make even more room. Two futons are available if you don't feel so nimble, or if 3 of you share the cabin. There is a well equipped decent size kitchen area and a BBQ is available. The shower/toilet is a separate en-suite design. - (it will sleep four at a push, but you want really good weather and harmonious, easy going friends for that!!)

Aberdovey, which is in the Snowdonia National Park, is a village of great character and charm, located at the mouth of the River Dovey. It is unspoilt and the small amount of development that has taken place in recent years has been carried out at the rear of the village thus not disturbing the sea front and shopping area.

The estuary offers excellent facilities for sailing and water-skiing, there being a public slipway. There is a superb sandy beach with sand dunes which is ideal for children, behind which there is a well-known golf course. It is possible to hire sailing boats, canoes, SUPs and to go on fishing trips. Windsurfing is now a very popular sport in the estuary and boards can also be hired. Kite surfing is also popular and local tuition is available. There are two public tennis courts, a pitch and putt and a bowling green.

The surrounding area provides plenty of entertainment for children on bad days. At Tywyn, just five miles away, there is an indoor swimming pool, squash courts, playground, cinema and the well-known Tal-y-llyn narrow gauge steam railway. The countryside around Aberdovey is reputed for some of its beautiful walks, Happy Valley being just to the rear of the chalet site. the famous Cadir Idris mountain is 40 minutes drive away.

The chalet is on a small exclusive site immediately at the rear of Aberdovey being some two-thirds of a mile from the village centre. It is on high ground and each chalet enjoys unrivalled views over the Dovey Estuary and South Wales. On a clear day you can see both the Northern and Southern tips of Cardigan Bay. The site is surrounded by fields and open countryside and could not be more safe for children.

It is a Norwegian pine bungalow, being finished to an extremely high standard with double-skin walls, floor and roof and double-glazing. Thus it is warm and cosy on a wet and windy day and cool on a hot day. The accommodation is as follows:-

Living/Dining room - this is a particularly attractive feature of the chalet as it is south-facing with picture windows all round and it enjoys fabulous views. Leading off is a large balcony which can be used for eating out. One corner of the room is used as a dining area with a large pine refectory table that will easily seat eight people. At night, the seats pull out and converts into a 4’6” double bed. The whole room is tastefully furnished in pine and bright colours. There is a colour television and a digital satellite dish in place, but tenants need to bring their own black box and viewing card.

Kitchen area - another corner of the living room is separated off to form a compact but practical kitchen incorporating a fridge, dishwasher, small microwave oven, electric cooker and masses of cupboards. It is fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, glass and cutlery for eight people.

Bedroom No. 1 - double bed with duvet, fitted cupboards. (Double blankets are available if required; they are stored under the dining-area sofa unit)

Bedroom No. 2 - double bed with good headroom plus full-length single bunk bed above also with good headroom, duvets, chest of drawers and hanging space. There is a cot provided (that would need assembling), along with an Ikea infants high chair.

Bedroom No. 3 - full-length bunk beds with good headroom, duvets, fitted cupboards.

Bathroom - Shower, wash basin and WC.

Our cosy and comfortable two bedroom property has a contemporary feel and is on the top coastal path in a peaceful cul-de-sac near Mumbles Cricket Club. You can walk to the nearest beach or drive in just a few minutes.

Our chalet is single storey and modernly furnished. It has its own parking space (for two medium sized cars) and private garden, Plus we have books, games, DAB radio, WiFi and a smart TV to keep you occupied when you’re indoors.

It has a good-sized living room with sofa, two bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom with shower. Outside there is a small decked garden (at the back) and grassed area (at thr front). There is parking for two vehicles. It’s ideal for couples and families (ideally 2 - 5 people).

There are two bedrooms which each have a wardrobe. The first bedroom has a small double bed (122 x 190cm), two bedside tables and mirror. The second bedroom has a triple sleeper bed (small double bed 122 x 190cm on the bottom and a single bed 91 x 190cm on top) and mirror. The second bedroom leads to the back garden.

It's the perfect base to explore the Gower. Within a two minute walk you'll be on the top of a cliff overlooking the sea and at the top coastal path. Within a ten minute walk you can reach either Limeslade Bay or Bracelet Bay. The pier and the fishing village of Mumbles is also walkable. Alternatively you can walk in the other direction onto Rotherslade then onto Langland Bay (popular with surfers and families) and Caswell Bay (via cafes with homemade cakes and blankets if it’s chilly, or ice cream if it’s hot).

Alternatively it's a stroll into the thriving Mumbles with a great variety of shops, cafes, wine bars, pubs and restaurants. Ice cream parlours are dotted along the promenade and during high season the land train chugs along the sea front transporting people to and from Blackpill Lido and Swansea.

Whether you like retail therapy, water sports, walking or simply relaxing, it's the perfect base to be out and about to explore the Mumbles, Swansea and the Gower.

Please note that linen isn't included however it is an optional extra to rent linen if you need it. It is £22 per bed which includes a big and a small towel per guest, bath mat and a tea towel. On booking, please specify that this is required.

This spacious timber lodge offers well equipped and comfortable self catering accommodation for five people. The lounge has a large and comfortable sofa and armchair and there’s a flatscreen TV with satellite Freeview, and free wifi along with a cosy flame effect fire for the chillier nights. Large picture windows which adorn its well-designed living area, not only flood the space with light but invite effortless appreciation of the beauty of the natural surroundings. The French doors open onto a large veranda across the front of the property providing an ideal spot for dining in the sunshine. Caer Beris Holiday Park is situated just outside the spa town of Builth Wells near to the Brecon Beacons, an area of outstanding Welsh countryside. Situated in 34 acres of neatly maintained grounds, the park provides a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with something to interest every member of the family from walking, cycling, culture, scenery, nature and of course fishing!
On the site there is a stretch of free river fishing where there are salmon, grayling and trout waiting to be caught. There is also a fully stocked fishing lake (permits required).
Caer Beris itself is the site of a historic fort and the stunning Caer Beris Manor Hotel. Access to the hotel is gained from the park grounds by crossing the wooden walkway bridge which spans over the River Irfon. Guests are welcome to visit the hotel and take advantage of the facilities and events held throughout the year.
The setting is beautifully rural yet very close to the town of Builth Wells which is only a mile away - a few minutes in the car, or a pleasant 20 minute walk through the Manor Hotel grounds when the weather obliges. Builth is a charming town with a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and even a cinema!
Local attractions around the area include the ever popular Royal Welsh Show, The National Showcaves Centre, The Woollen Mill at Rock Mill and the breathtaking landscapes in and around the Elan Valley. We especially recommend the Red Kite Feeding at Rhayader and a walk or drive around the Elan Valley Dams. A 15 minute drive to the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, is well worth a visit especially during the Victorian Festival in August.

There is also a well stocked, reasonably priced shop and cafe at the entrance to the park with a laundry in the park.

There is a three nights minimum stay with check in after 1600 and check out before 1000.

The second has one double bed and one single bed with an on-suite bathroom, with a bath and a shower. The third room has two single beds with on-suite shower room. The whole lodge has underfloor heating for your comfort.

Wake up and enjoy the views across the hills from the large floor to ceiling windows. There is also a separate WC on this floor. Climb the solid oak stairs to the first floor where you will find the further two bedrooms, both with super king size zip and link beds (which can be made up as twins on request), and both with en suite bathrooms with bath and separate shower and WC. Stepping outside there is a paved patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining while enjoying the surrounding countryside views. The garden to the front of the property is lawn with a stone circle feature for enjoying views towards the Cromarty Firth. There are lots of local walks to enjoy from the house and ample parking available. Located in the Ross shire countryside with the city of Inverness and Inverness Airport about a 40 minute drive, this is a fantastic base for exploring the spectacular and dramatic Scottish Highlands. There are many country walks and cycle paths to enjoy, taking you to the dramatic Black Rock Gorge or take a woodland walk up to the Fyrish monument for spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth, (delete as this is currently closed) or visit the Dalmore Distillery located in Alness. Black Isle and Cromarty Firth boat trips are great for dolphin and seal spotting. Among the activities available include salmon and trout fishing, shooting, golf and many others. Dornoch's beautiful beaches, Urquhart Castle, Dunrobin Castle and the famous Loch Ness are within easy reach. Dingwall is also a short drive away, where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and leisure
