The space
The lodge caters for 5 people. An open plan living area has a well-equipped kitchen containing electric hob and fan oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, cooking utensils, a family dining area and a comfortable sitting area with wall mounted flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player. Wifi also available.

There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with king sized bed and a separate family room with both a double and single bed.
There is a large decked garden area with BBQ, hot tub and fire-pit ideal for alfresco dining. The cabin is south facing and benefits from the sun from sunrise until sunset.

With excellent amenities close by including the local shop, large village green, outdoor play area, local village pub (all within a few minutes walk), stunning scenery leading to numerous beautiful walks and cycle routes, this cabin is ideal for a year-round family break.

Situated only 10 minutes from the historic city of Canterbury and on bus routes to Sandwich and the seaside town of Whitstable.
Howletts zoo is a few hundred metres from the cabin, you can regularly hear the sounds from the lions, monkeys and elephants. Wingham wildlife park is within a couple of miles.

The shower room is stocked with everything you will need during your stay with a Mira shower to reinvigorate while your towel is warmed on the electric towel rail.

The kitchen is compact but fully functioning with oven,fridge freezer and 2 ring hob top. The oven can also be used as a microwave. If coffee is your indulgence the Nespresso machine is there and fully stocked for you to sample the different flavours on offer.

For the energetic guests we have 2 adult bikes located at the pod, please bring your own helmets!

With our changeable weather you can decide to eat inside or out with the tables and chairs we have provided. The Weber BBQ is also in situation on the deck when required.

Wireless charging is available along with a docking port for the iPhone with USB plugs available at the bedsides.
Access to the Escape is located by our main drive. This is protected by an electric gate with key code ensuring safety for any little ones who like to wander! If we are not there on your arrival a key safe is located next to the Hot tub.

Carrying on through to one of our Paddocks will bring you to your home for the time you have with us. Served by its own gravel road there is ample parking and turning available.
Although the site of the house is private, we are generally around to answer any questions you may have.

This property is pet friendly, we allow up to 2 dogs and you can bring them free of charge. If you have more than 2 dogs then please do get in touch - we may make exceptions given the type of breed and how well behaved they are :)

The fully equipped lodge is situated in a quiet cul de sac of the park affording guests with privacy. The spacious terrace has ample seating and dining arrangements so guests can entertain. The deluxe hot tub is sunken into the terrace at the rear of the lodge.

The lodge consists of vaulted ceilings, modern fixtures and fittings throughout and tastefully decorated. The open plan fully equipped kitchen over looks the living and dining area, meaning the chef can still interact with their guests as they prepare dinner.

The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower. The double bedroom has built in wardrobes and a dressing table whilst the twin bedroom contains two single beds and a wardrobe. All three bedrooms have their own flat screen TV's and the owners provide the bed linen.

The family bathroom is equipped with toilet, large shower enclosure, wash basin and heated towel rail.

The owners provide Sky TV, outdoor and indoor games for the children (and adults). A welcome pack is prepared for each guests arrival.

This property can accommodate 6 comfortably or 8 as we do have a sofa bed but additional bed linen charges may apply.

For larger groups there are two adjacent properties that can sleep 6 respectively, they each come with their own private hot tub.

Our lodges are available to rent throughout the year.

Check in day is either a Monday or Friday, though at times, particularly during off peak season we can be more flexible.

The hot tub provides a wonderful experience to enjoy after a walk, or watching the sunset (and yes also the sunrise!), or just listening to the barn owls, your own music or watching the red kites and pheasants that abound the area.

The hut has been carefully designed internally to maximise the available space and the décor.
- The integral kitchen area comprises of a hob, combi microwave/full oven, fridge/freezer, Belfast sink, extractor fan, toaster and kettle.

- The “accommodation” section in the middle of the hut includes a king size double bed, settee, smart TV set with integrated DVD player (with Netflix included when you connect to 4G over your mobile phone), wall mounted electric heater and stowaway eating table and chairs.
- Leading off the bedroom area is the en-suite with shower, wash basin, toilet, heated towel rail, extractor fan, and bath robes for use with the hot tub.
