The Space:
Fern Lodge has a bright and spacious living room, with the kitchen and dining area at the rear of the space. A great place to relax with your loved ones, the living space is sociable and homely. Featuring a comfy sofa, matching armchair and a flat screen, you can cosy up and unwind on an evening after a fun-filled day exploring the great outdoors.

Boasting both traditional and modern features, the kitchen includes an oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, and fridge-freezer so you can make the most of your self-catering stay. The dining area features a wooden dining table and seating for all guests, perfect for meal times with your party.

You’ll find two bedrooms at Fern Lodge. The master bedroom is a generously sized space with a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a dressing table, flat screen TV and storage space for your belongings.

Ideal for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has twin single beds. Both bedrooms feature plush and pillows with premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entirety of Fern Lodge. The keys to the lodge are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Any additional vehicles can be parked in the free site car park which is a very short walk away from Fern Lodge.

Additional bedding will be left should guests wish to make up the sofa bed at Fern Lodge. When made up, the lodge can accommodate up to six guests.

Please note that guests will need to climb a small number of steps to access Fern Lodge.

One well behaved dog is welcome to stay at Fern Lodge per reservation.

Designed in the style of a Swedish summer house / lake house, this welcoming timber chalet is located in Rock on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, part of a small site of 12 in a peaceful wooded valley with views towards the Camel Estuary and Padstow.

Sleeps 4 - bedroom 1 is the main bedroom with a king sized bed and bedroom 2 contains one pair of bunk beds.

The site is within easy walking distance of Rock waterfront and the Padstow passenger ferry and is a 10 minute drive from Polzeath surfing beaches, and is also close to the attractive town of Wadebridge. It is conveniently placed for exploring the rest of Cornwall, being about half an hour from the Eden Project and about 50 minutes from St Ives and the Tate Gallery.

Cycling the Camel Trail between Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow is a favourite recreation activity. For walkers there is the South West Coast Path (beautiful between Port Isaac and Pentire Point).

Rock, Padstow and Port Isaac all have plenty of restaurants/gastro pubs and cafes including kitchens run by well known chefs Nathan Outlaw, Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, including the Mariners, just down the road by Rock waterfront.

The open plan living area contains two sofas, a coffee table, a dining table for six and a smart TV with DVD collection for all ages. A spacious sideboard contains the tableware and useful items including local information and maps. Full fibre wifi is provided for our guests' convenience.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, toaster and fridge. A freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer are in the locker on the front porch.

Outside, the large southwest facing timber deck comes highly recommended. It gets all the sun and is wonderful for lunches/barbeques and sundowners. There is plenty of garden furniture including a large sun umbrella and sun loungers.

Located in Wadebridge, this chalet is in a rural area and on a river. St. Enodoc Golf Club and Camel Cycle Trail are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Cornish Coast Day Adventures and Camel Creek Adventure Park.
