Recent guest reviews:

Coming from somewhere thats pretty noisy it was a so nice to have some peace and quiet - just what we needed! The cottage is only 5 or so mins from Hawkhurst which has a Waitrose and Tesco, yet its really rural - no road noise, surrounded by fields. Amazing sunsets from the terrace - there is a fire pit and BBQ. Julia made sure we were happy - thanks for the Presseco, eggs and bread. We forgot toothpaste but again, provided! It makes a great base for visiting Kent / Sussex - Hastings was about 30 mins, Leeds Castle 40 mins. We also visited a great vineyard about 20 mins away. Genuinely the best UK accommodation we've experienced so thanks so much! June 2021

Great little find. Lovely location, completely secure garden for our dog so that was perfect and very important to us so we could relax. The chalet had everything we needed. The farmer also allowed my son to fish his lake which we really enjoyed. Lovely and quiet spot but close to some fantastic pubs, cafes, farm shops and scenery. Thanks Julia for your great communication and all the little extras such as bread, eggs, Prosecco, toiletries. June 2021

It is in the most beautiful setting, beside a farm in the middle of the beautiful Kent countryside - perfect for rural walks and runs. It was very clean and tidy, and was the best equipped place we have ever stayed in - there was absolutely everything we could possibly have needed, from eggs, milk and butter in the fridge, to washing up liquid, soap and hand sanitiser in the kitchen, and Andy the farmer even brought us a parasol for the outside table and charcoal for the barbecue (we were very lucky with the weather!) We would thoroughly recommend this place as a getaway for couples or small families. June 2021
