Cherry Lodge is a modern but cosy and comfortable cabin with a large wooden deck enjoying its own privacy overlooking the cherry orchard it sits in. In comes complete with BBQ fire pit and outside dinning, It is nestled in eight acres of private grounds in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lyn Valley, and is surrounded by farmland with lots of footpaths. The interior has been furnished to a high standard with all modern amenities to allow guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity without compromising on comfort. Once inside Cherry Lodge you will find a double bed and separate shower room with sink and toilet. The kitchen and living area includes a full convection oven/microwave, double hob, fridge freezer and a coffee machine. The sofa can be converted to a small double bed. There is excellent Wifi and a smart TV (for those who want it).

Experience staying in a 1940s styled cherry pickers cabin, which has been refurbished to a high standard without losing the authentic look and feel. Situated in the grounds of The Old Thatched Cottage, The Cherry Pickers Cabin enjoys its own privacy overlooking fields and a cherry orchard. It also has its own secluded south facing garden complete with BBQ fire pit and outside dinning, It is nestled in eight acres of private ground in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lyn Valley, and is surrounded by farmland with lots of footpaths.
Inside the Cherry Pickers Cabin is a separate double bedroom, WC and shower room. The kitchen includes a convection/microwave oven, small hob, toaster and a small fridge/freezer. In the main living area, is a folding table and chairs and the sofa can be converted into two bunks. The refurb has used many upcycled local products and guests can enjoy some of the lovely quirky features.
Just for additional authenticity the cabin is on the flight path for the Head corn and Biggin Hill Spitfires and these can be seen fairly regularly on clear days.
A stay at the Cherry Pickers Cabin will take you back to a simpler time and pace that will allow you to relax and unwind.
