Bettws is a sweet village in the Brecon Beacons. Country and mountain walks are right on your doorstep, with the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid nearby providing amazing scenery. Just three miles to the historic town of Abergavenny with an eclectic mix of shops, pubs and restaurants, regular festivals and markets and even a little cinema for rainy days. Nearby you can visit galleries, museums and historic castles. Interesting days out at Blaenavon Iron Works and The Big Pit or perhaps try star gazing at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre. Plenty of activities to enjoy including riding, golf, kayaking on the Usk and Wye or a visit to Hay on Wye the town of books, which is twenty miles away.
