This property benefits from 2 double rooms comfortably sleeping 4 people with their own ensuites. One of the ensuites has a bath with overhead shower and the other a large walk in shower. 

The living room has large glass doors to allow you to take in the views of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. opening out onto a patio area, with outdoor furniture in the warmer months.  

There is a open plan living space with a kitchen diner and a living room. The living room features a impressive log burner to keep you cosy on colder nights, aswell as a smart TV, to relax and wind down.  

Additional feature is a separate utility room perfect for muddy boots. There is a washing machine and extra toilet in the utility room also, for your convenience.  

Outside there is garden to the left of the property and a patio with dining facilities for your use to take in the endless views of the Derbyshire Dales(please note garden is not enclosed).

The cabins all have a deep filled king size beds. There is a hidden TV that can be remotely lifted out of the bottom of the bed area, should you wish to nestle down and watch a film.



The cabins have been designed and hand built at Brosterfield, providing a unique Peak District getaway. Each cabin has a relaxing sofa area which takes in the fanatic views and a good sized kitchen area with a double hob, fridge and combi-microwave oven. The kitchen is fitted out with everything you will need for a stay. The en-suite shower room are a good size with large showers.



Parking is at the base of the field, so as to not disturb the quietness and wildlife. Each cabin is just a few steps to their front door.

Our converted container cabin is run on wind power with a spring water supply from a sustainable well. The cabin is a modern space with bedroom, bathroom and combined kitchen and living space. It is fully equipped with all that you should require for your stay. The cabin sleeps 4, with one main bedroom and a sofa bed utilised in the main living space.

Set on a 40 acre farm boasting stunning views we are right on the edge of the Peak District yet only 1 mile away from the historic spa town of Buxton. The spectacular views can be seen from inside and outside. The sunrise, sunset and star gazing (should the weather allow) are a sight to behold.

Our unique location makes us a perfect base for exploring nearby attractions. Hiking, cycling, angling, photography, drawing, painting, wildlife spotting and much more are all on our doorstep.

We are a small working farm where animals do roam the fields freely and so we ask our guests to be respectful of this. We are happy for your lovely well behaved dogs to join you on your break provided they are kept on leads and under control at all times.

We have a hot tub available as an optional extra for the duration of your stay costing £25 per night which will be payable on arrival.

There is a shower room with an off-grid Cinderella Toilet, renowned for its sustainable and environmentally friendly performance. It is easy to use and requires a small supplied paper sheet to be placed in the bowl before use making it hygienic and clean. A press of a button and everything is gone. No cleaning, no smells, no emptying required.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO CURTAINS THROUGHOUT THE POD.

This is to take full advantage of the truly outstanding views. The pod is situated in a private area and is not overlooked. You may wish to bring an eye mask if you do not wish for mother nature to wake you up.

The pod is a great retreat in the winter too. With underfloor heating, fur throws and an outside fire, you'll stay toasty and warm throughout.

For warmer days, a fan is on hand to keep the pod cool. (please do request this if it is needed for any other times of the year).

Towels, sheets and special toiletries are provided.

The former spa town of Matlock is situated in the South Eastern part of the Peak District, with the National Park close by.   The town itself has a lovely selection of pubs, shops and cafes, plus superb transport links to get out and enjoy the surrounding area. Visit the local Black Rocks, a popular walking and climbing spot which offers superb views of Matlock Gorge. Those with energy can take the climb to the top or enjoy a milder circular walk. Formerly an area mined for lead, there are a number of interesting plants, including leadworts, and an intriguing mix of limestone and gritstone formations to explore. Refreshments are available in the summer months, and you can park near the site.

A trip to Hall Leys Park is a must, with much to do to fill your day. Take a boat out on the lake, amble along the River Derwent on a riverside walk, or even enjoy a game or two of tennis on the courts.

The local railway line between Matlock and Rowsley offers a fantastic vintage experience aboard a steam or diesel train, a great step back in time, and a chance to view the lovely countryside along the way. If you are looking for more vintage transport, then a visit to Crich Tramway Village offers the chance to ride on an old tram and explore over 60 vintage trams displayed at the museum. There is also a working pub, café and even an olde style sweet shop to keep everyone’s energy up.

Make sure to head to the Heights of Abraham, a stunning hilltop park where you can book a scenic cable car taking you up to view the stunning Derwent Valley. The Vista Restaurant at the top is a lovely spot for lunch with a view. From the hilltops to the underground caves, many illuminated caverns are explored on site.
