A stunning hand crafted log cabin, made from oak beams and larch cladding sourced from our own woodland. Kept extra cosy by the grass “living roof” above. Its nestled in beautiful Welsh countryside in a quiet valley looking over our 20 acre private woodland that you are welcome to walk around.

There is a large fire pit supplied with free fire wood to relax and toast marshmallows over. There is also a charcoal bbq and large picnic table to enjoy alfresco dining and an undercover area should the weather not be to favourable. To the fore there is a large grassed area to play games on or just to sit back and watch the wild life. Red kite, rabbits and every finch imaginable are regular visitors.

Parking is to the side of the property and there is space for 2 cars should you need it. There is no dedicated charging point for electric cars, if you have one please let us know and if you would like to charge it then please discuss a fair amount to pay for it.

Internally you can appreciate the hand crafted oak frame that this cabin is built around, it really makes the cabin that bit special. The large curved “jotul” wood burning stove with free logs warms the entire cabin and makes it so very cosy to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring!
There's a smart tv to watch your favourite film on with Netflix and a small selection of DVD’s supplied.

The well equipped kitchen won’t disappoint with Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine combined tumble dryer, and all cooking utensils you’d likely need.

The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed with ample storage for all your holiday belongings. The second bedroom has hand made bunk beds with a chest of draws stuffed full of family games to play in the evenings. There is also a small selection of toys, books and dvds for younger guests. The bunks are slightly shorter than standard and measure 175cm (5’9”) and are better suited to kids although we have had quite a few adults stay in them without complaint!

The bathroom has a luxurious walk in shower and free standing vanity unit and basin. The heated towel rail ensures warm dry towels.


Location

The cabin is in beautiful countryside down a quiet country lane approximately 15 mins drive North of St.Clears in Carmarthenshire. Its a great location for walking and exploring - The Preseli hills are a 15 miute drive aways and the famous pembrokeshire coast path about 30 minutes.

The Beaches of Pendine (famous for setting land speed records), Newport (an ancient port town of Parrog) and Llanstephan (with 12th century castle) are all about a 30 minute drive away. Slightly further afield are the stunning beaches of Mwnt, Penbryn (both in Ceredigion), Telpyn (Carmarthenshire) and Manorbier (Pembrokeshire) are all within 45 minutes.

A fun filled day out at West Wales tourist attractions of Oakwood and Folly farm are about 30 minutes drive whilst Heatherton and The Dinosaur park are 45minutes.

Located in Whitland, this cabin is in a rural area and near the beach. Celtic Country Wines - Celteg and Teifi Valley Railway Limited are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Castell Henllys Iron Age Village. Holgan Farm Fishery and Pantglas World of Nature are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Our wonderful, luxurious chalet is superbly located in the Pembrokeshire National Park, steps from the beach and ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and families.
With 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, a spacious open plan living area and a beautiful sun trap garden, its easy to relax in the property, but we are also just a few minutes easy stroll (no steep climbs) to Nolton Haven beach and the Pembrokeshire coast path leading to other wonderful beaches along this beautiful coast (closest Newgale, Broadhaven). There is a great foodie pub in walking distance and many more eateries and cosy pubs we are happy to recommend locally. We are within 20mins of Solva, St Davids and Haverfordwest, and just over 30mins to the towns of Tenby & Saundersfoot. The coast bus runs directly through the village if you don’t feel like driving or wish to make a coast path walk 1 way.
We’ve prepared the chalet to the highest standards with 2 bedrooms (super king & king size), both en suite with power shower bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped including modern appliances, dishwasher & washing machine. Our dining table seats 4, lounge area featuring large electric recliner leather sofas to sink into. Our outside space features further seating for 4 and also has sun loungers..
We are very dog friendly and don’t charge extra for your furry friends. Please be aware due to the property being within the Pembrokeshire National Park we cannot fully secure the garden, the gate is 3ft high.
There is free, unrestricted parking just across the road from the chalet.
Our wifi is excellent for those needing to keep in touch with the outside world.

This cabin is located in Haverfordwest. Roch Castle and Picton Castle & Gardens are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Scolton Manor Country Park. Hilton Court Gardens and Melin Tregwynt Woolen Mill are also worth visiting.
