Neaum Crag Estate is a superbly peaceful environment situated within an established woodland with towering trees, roaming wildlife, including red squirrels and roe deer, and the central location is ideal for exploring the South Lakes including Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and Grasmere. A bus stop is found at the bottom of the lane which makes it easy to explore without the car. Within a 5-minutes walk is Skelwith Bridge, home to the popular vegan Chesters Cafe, the Slate Gallery and the Skelwith Hotel and Talbot Bar, popular with walkers who enjoy the outside seating. From Skelwith is a wonderful walk along the River Brathay leading to Elterwater and Elterwater Village.
