We are offering this 5 star award winning Sherwood lodge for rental on the South Lakeland Leisure Village site. The lodge is a great place to have a family holiday or a peaceful relaxing time, you can also enjoy the site facilities which include an award winning restaurant and bar as well as the pool and gym facilities.
The lodge has only been rented out since May 2016 and has received very praiseworthy reviews and all our guests have enjoyed their stays. We have the internet installed in the lodge, free to our guests. We will consider guests to bring their dogs but we do require details of pets before we agree to them coming. Previous guests who have brought their pets have found the large decking area to be a great benefit.
This lodge has a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a second bedroom with two single beds, a separate bathroom is also provided, please note that towels are not provided and you will need to bring your own. There is a well equiped galley style kitchen leading into the dining area and then into the lounge area. From the lounge double patio doors lead out onto the extensive decking area which has outside furniture and a gate which can be closed for security and safety. The lodge is located on the South Lakeland Leisure Village which offers a reception area, a bar with an award winning restaurant all at good prices. The site offers at a fee the leisure facilities which offer a pool, weights area, gymnasium and beauty salon. From the site there is plenty of areas to explore the lake district, Yorkshire Dales, Trough of Bowland as well as the local area around Silverdale and Arnside. The nearby town of Carnforth offers supermarkets and local shops as well as the railway station used in the film Close encounters. Charges apply for the leisure complex this includes use of the indoor pool, steam room and gym. Adult rates: Per Full Week £17 per person. Per part week £9 per person: Per day pass £5 per person: Family passes (2 adults 2 children) Full week £60. Park week £30. Day pass £10: Children’s rates for the same periods: Full week £13 per person: Park week £7 per person: Day pass £3 per person. There is a £100 security deposit to be paid on arrival.
Please note- there will be a £100 deposit (preferabbly with the same card used to book your break) requested upon arrival, this will be returned at the end of the holiday, subject to damage or loss. You will also need to bring proof of identification.
Please note the restaurant is currently undergoing refurbishment and won’t be available until 25th March 2016.
Please note the cost of Highchairs and Cots are £14 per week and £7 per short break each.
Pets are £35 per week and £20 per short break each.
