All Hot tubs are set at 37 degrees, this is a leisure standard and kept at this temperature we will not amend the temperature before arrival.
Please be aware there will essential work taking place during your Mon-Fri break (12th-16th October) which may cause some disruption between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.
Please be aware there will be building work taking place on park during your stay, between the hours of 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday. The Park Managers will do everything they can during these hours not to disrupt your holiday, however this building work will create some noise and there will be heavy machinery operating (safely). The reason for this disruption is in order for the park to demolish the old ballroom at the front of the park to make way for the new Field View development of lodges in 2021.
Please be aware there will be building work taking place on park during your stay, between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday to Friday, this is to make way for a brand new lodge development. The park will be trying their hardest to keep disruption to a minimum and they will be fencing off the area affected.

Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01760 751 370 to let them know. Please note any guests under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Travel Cot Hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note you must bring your own mattress and bedding for the cot. Please note travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01760 751 370 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Resort Facilities: Norfolk Woods’ facilities are currently working at a reduced capacity and pre-booking for any activities, treatments or food at the restaurant is essential. Please book by calling the resort reception on 01760 751 370. The gym can be used by people over 16 years old only. You can access the gym by visiting reception, you may be asked for a fully refundable deposit.
Additional Information: Please note that all accommodation has four steps up to the entrance. Please note your car registration number will be requested upon arrival for Norfolk woods’ security barrier system. Please read Darwin Escapes’ park rules found here.
Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival. No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay.

Hire of Travel Cots: You will need to supply your own cot mattress and bedding as this is not included in the hire of travel cots. Please note travel cots do not fit in the double/master bedrooms.
Hot Tubs in Premier Accommodation: Please be aware the hot tub may not be up to temperature when you first arrive due to water change and maintenance. Hot tubs are for your family/group use only.
Additional Information: Please note all accommodation have 3 to 4 steps up to the entrance.
Departure Information: Please ensure you leave the accommodation by 10:00am on your day of departure.
Pets: Please note, if you are planning on bringing your pet or animal on holiday, this must be included in your party make up when booking. If you arrive on holiday with an undeclared pet/animal, the park operators are entitled to either relocate you to suitable pet/animal-friendly accommodation (if available) or refuse access to the Park. You may also be liable for any Pet charge, cleaning costs and/or relocation costs incurred. Please check with the retreat prior to including any extra pets. Any pets arriving undeclared could be asked to leave the retreat if there is no pet accommodation available.

National Highways important road work information from Monday 3rd October 2022 to February 2023 –
Safety improvement work on the A47 between A47 Hardwick Roundabout (King’s Lynn) to Swaffham. Roadworks will take place between Monday 3rd October to February 2023 between 8PM and 6AM on weeknights only (weather permitting).
A47 Hardwick Roundabout to School Road – Late November to Mid-January 2023.
A47 School Lane to Walton Road – Early January to Mid- February 2023.
Whilst these closures are in place, eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the A10, A134 and the A1065 before re-joining the A47 at Swaffham. Westbound traffic will follow the same diversion in reverse.

This lodge is located in King's Lynn. Swaffham Museum and Military Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Middleton Hall Golf Club and Swaffham Golf Club. Gooderstone Water Gardens & Nature Trails and Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming.
