The Bees Knees is a quirky homely chalet situated on a privately owned park in the picturesque village of Mundesley and 600 yards from the award winning sandy beach. Recently renovated in 2022 the one bedroom chalet is fully equipped with quality furnishings throughout. Village amenities, shops and beach are all within a few minutes walk.

Located in Norwich, this chalet is next to a golf course and near the beach. Norfolk Motorcycle Museum and The Straw Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Sim-Air and Amazona Zoo. Little Gems and East Ruston Old Vicarage are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

This superb holiday property has seen extensive refurbishment for the comfort and convenience of guests, but it hasn't lost any of its classic country charm. Located in the most beautiful of settings, the grounds are a delight and you will have the opportunity to meet the owner's alpacas, a treat for children and adults alike; there may even be the opportunity to walk and feed the alpacas! The living space is open plan, with full height ceilings, exposed trusses and a large picture window at one end making the space feel light and airy. The under floor heating ensures that you are cosy in the colder months and the tasteful furnishings and quality linens lend a feeling of luxury to the experience.

Situated on the other side of the courtyard from The Dairy, both cottages could be booked together giving two families the opportunity to holiday together whilst still retaining their own personal space.

The Peddars Walk pathway is close by and you can enjoy walks into Great Massingham (approx three quarters of a mile) where you will find one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages with two large central ponds and the popular Dabbling Duck gastro pub which the younger Royal's often frequent. The Cart Lodge and The Dairy are part of West Heath Barns and situated in grounds of 4.5 acres so there is plenty of tranquil rural space where you can spend time recharging your batteries and enjoying the peaceful setting!

A one hour complimentary Alpacca walk is included for guests staying at The Cart Lodge.

Great Massingham is one of Norfolk's most attractive villages and has one of the most photographed village greens in the county. Several large ponds dominate the village; some of which have their origins as the fish ponds for an 11th century Augustinian Abbey. In 2009 the village won a CPRE Community Open Spaces award and in both 2009 & 2010 an ‘EDP Pride in Norfolk’ award for villages with a population under 1000. The beautiful North Norfolk coast is just a 20 minute drive away. The village has a thriving community with a shop and also pub called The Dabbling Duck that has an excellent bar and restaurant and of course you are close to Sandringham, HM The Queen's country residence.

There is a large fully fenced paddock area for exercising your dog a 30 second walk around the corner adjacent to the guest parking area. There is private parking for two cars. The setting is delightful and you will love meeting the alpaca's during your stay.

Inside The Old Cricket Pavilion you are greeted by a warm and cosy living area - all with quirky cricket touches, so you never forget the interesting past of the bolthole. Wide windows line one side, giving you views across rolling paddocks from every aspect of the pavilion. There is a super-king bed at one end with hand crafted cricket ball lamps on either side. There are two wicker chairs and an old Singer table for those evening when you wish to dine inside, or watch something on the smart television. The fully equipped kitchen has a hidden under-counter fridge with icebox, double electric hob and sink. There is everything you need to cook up a storm, and even a Nespresso machine for a morning coffee on the decking. The bathroom has a wide shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Stepping outside, there is a decked area with lovely large wooden chairs to sit with a drink and good book. Down the steps is a lawned area to the front and a decked area hidden to the side with a wood fired hot tub and table and chairs. There is a small firepit which can also be used as a BBQ for those al fresco diners. The village pub, The Three Horseshoes is only 250 meters away and there is a small path direct to the back of the pub from the pavilion. The beautiful Norfolk Norfolk coast is also accessible directly from the property; you can walk down the owners driveway straight to the coastal path on the Stiffkey marshes.
