Due to Covid 19 we deep clean Butterfly Lodge prior to the season commencing. This includes all carpets (shampooed), blinds, curtains, bedding etc. New mattresses have been provided in all bedrooms (2021). Our cleaners ensure the lodge is fully cleaned and inspected after every guests departure.

Killigarth Manor holiday park has comprehensive liesure facilities including: swimming pool(s), gym, sauna, clubhouse, nightly entertainment, bar, snooker and pool, shop, takeaway, cafe, tennis court, kiddies play area, kiddies club, free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse and much more. Half an hour away, set in the natural beauty of the Cheddar Valley, is the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Cheddar Gorge, and Caves. With awe-inspiring cliffs and subterranean wonders in the caves below, it’s an undisputed must-see when in the area. Not only does it hold fantastic exhibits on the ancestral history of the caves, but it also offers an opportunity to get active and adventurous through rock climbing tours and excursions.

For a gentler day of sightseeing, why not head to Wells Cathedral City, just over thirty minutes’ drive away. The stunning Anglican Cathedral dates as far back as 1239 and has one of the oldest working clock mechanisms in Britain within its beautiful structure. For more historic inspiration, make sure you take a trip to Vicar’s Close, believed to be the oldest residential street with original buildings survived to this day, dating back to the 14th Century.

The famous music festival town of Glastonbury is well worth a visit at any time of the year, with a rich history steeped in ancient myth. Just forty minutes away is the lovely city of Bath, once a Roman spa retreat. Then pay a visit to the historic Roman Baths, well-preserved thermae dating back to the Fifth Century AD.
