Our log cabins on the Highland Lodges estate are situated on the lower slopes of Glen Dochart just outside the village of Crianlarich. The views over the mountains, loch and surrounding glen are awe inspiring and can be appreciated from the comfort of your own log cabin. The location is excellent for outdoor pursuits and the resort keeps a selection of bikes, boats, canoes and kayaks for guests to hire free of charge.
Raven lodge has a traditional Scottish feel with tartan sofas and a cosy and comfortable timber clad interior. The living area containing a flat screen TV and DVD player and boasts large french doors leading out onto the decking area where you'll find lots of outdoor furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped and decorated with dark blue cabinets. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and hob. There are 2 bedrooms in total 1 double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a twin room which has use of the family bathroom.
Red Stag and An Caisteal are Portnellan's premier 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 5 star chalets which have been built adjacent to one another and specifically as holiday accommodation on the Portnellan Estate.
Both chalets are a mirror image and are spread over 2 floors and spanning nearly 210m2 these magnificent chalets are perfect for all group sizes up to 8 people.
From a private car park located beside the chalet the entrance is served by a ramp with Italian tiles leading to a triple glazed entrance door. Step into the chalet and the entrance hallway has a utility room off with separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Making your way through the ground floor hallway leads to 3 incredibly spacious bedrooms with ensuite facilities.
The master bedroom is furnished with a super king size bed, bedside tables with reading lights, USB ample wardrobe space and vanity area. Leading from the bedroom is a large fully tiled ensuite bathroom with shower over jacuzzi bath. The bedroom is provided with two leather arm chairs with coffee table and incredible triple glazed floor to ceiling windows allow you either to sit or lie in bed in comfort and solitude whilst you enjoy the stunning views over the cascading Ben More burn waterfall which flows immediately outside.
Further down the hallway are two more extensive sized bedrooms again with ample wardrobe space and vanity area, one twin with two single beds and one king size double both with shower rooms.
All beds and mattresses are hotel grade with 2000 spring, pocket sprung with Cashmere top laid with 100% goose down Messentex duvets and pillows (non allergenic man made fabric duvets and pillows can be provided upon request) Egyptian cotton bed linen, soft towels, bath robes, slippers and eye mask.
All floors downstairs are heated with thermostat controls in each room for total control on the ambient temperature within the bedroom giving you the perfect room temperature for a great nights sleep. All windows are triple glazed and the comfort of the chalet is enhanced even more by a fully controllable 'Nibe' central heating system and hot water system that is supplied by an air source heat pump and controlled by a digital thermostat.
Upstairs is connected by either a hand made Beech wood stairway or for anyone who would rather not tackle the stairs, there is an internal elevator.
Located off the upstairs hallway is both the fourth bedroom consisting of a king size double bed and ensuite shower room.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area are also located off the upstairs hallway. Walk through to this incredibly spacious and extremely comfortable room and you will be stopped in your tracks by this wonderful living space. Twin kitchen sinks with boiling water 'Quokker' tap and a slate black dining table that can seat 10 people comfortably. Forming part of a farm courtyard, this 19th-century cottage is available to hire on a self-catered basis for a group of up to 8 guests. Recently refurbished the cottage now offers comfortable and traditional accommodation to a modern standard. The open plan living and dining area is a large welcoming space for everyone to relax. The well-equipped kitchen will cater well for this group size. The bedrooms are all twin-bedded rooms with their own shower room. The spacious games room provides perfect entertainment for all ages. The main section of the cottage has oil fired central heating, with the living room and one of the twin room sections with electric heating. It has been modernised and refurbished to a high standard. With gardens to the front and the farm to the rear, this is a delightful big cottage to enjoy a rural holiday. Situated in a quiet rural setting, though being close to Stirling, there is parking available for 4 cars and it also has access to an outdoor tennis court.

The seating area looks like a classic elegant sitting room you would find in a country house rather than a cottage, with comfortable sofas and armchairs and prints of game birds on the walls. The kitchen is beyond the living space in the centre of the house, and it is a classic rectangular space, which has been well designed to maximise workspace and storage. With four electric hobs and oven, along with the microwave, there is plenty of cooking capacity for the numbers involved. A dishwasher and fridge/freezer are located in the kitchen, whilst a chest freezer can be made available in the games room. There is one large living space which is split between the seating area and the dining space. This dining section is elegantly set-up, with a fine dining table that can seat up to 8 people, surrounded by a dresser and antique pictures on the wall.

Located 10 miles from Stirling, a few miles away from Doune, this property is centrally positioned, being only 46 miles from Edinburgh and 36 miles from Glasgow.
