The main seating area has a two seater sofa with two single sofa arm chairs (soon to be replaced) and a 40” flat screen smart tv with access to over 100 freeview channels via complimentary unlimited WiFi and Netflix movies. Disney plus etc is available for those with subscription.

The kitchen has a large fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, combined microwave/grill, a toaster and kettle, we have all the utensils, pans, serving dishes…etc that you would expect of a kitchen at home.

Both bedrooms have ample drawers and wardrobe hanging space for clothes and all beds have new quality mattresses with cotton bedding and linens, we also supply quality bath sheet towels and hand towels.

‘ThisOne’ has central heating radiators in all rooms to make it comfortable during the cooler evenings and ample on-demand electric hot water for showers etc.

The private enclosed patio deck is South facing and just perfect for chatting over a glass or two, enjoying the warm evening summer sun.

The history of Wilfred Manor is fascinating. The earliest recorded Lord of the Manor was Ernist in 1050 when Painswick was known as Wyke. Over centuries the Manor dominated local life and Pain FitzJohn, the Lord from 1121 to 1137, is thought to have given his name to the town, hence ‘Pain’s-wyke’. The original Manor was demolished in 1445 and rebuilt and was fully functioning as a court until 1831. The original stocks can be seen outside the gates. King Charles I stayed at the Manor prior to the Siege of Gloucester in 1743.
