The twenty-five thousand-acre Holkham Estate is rich in history, architecture and wildlife. Holkham Hall is the seat of the Earl of Leicester, an 18th-century mansion still lived-in as well as open to visitors. There are six acres of walled garden, walking and cycling paths, lakes, deer, a tree-top high ropes course with its swings, bridges and ziplines, rowing boats, canoes and kayaks on the lake and a woodland play area. It makes for a great day out.
 
Another must is a trip to see the seals off Blakeney Point. The famous, picturesque village of Blakeney offers a pretty harbour, fishmongers, butchers and galleries, gastropubs and its amazing landscape of marshes, sand hills and mud banks. Within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Blakeney National Nature Reserve offers uninterrupted coastline views, and you are very likely to spot migratory birds and seals at Blakeney Point. You should try one of the fresh crab sandwiches from the mobile van in the car park at the harbour. They are delicious! Trips can be taken from Blakeney and Morston Quay to visit the seal colonies. The pups are born from November to early January, with over two thousand seal pups being born yearly. Just down the road is the enchanting, sleepy, flint-built, artisan village of Cley-next-the-Sea with its iconic windmill, galleries, pottery, deli and smoked fish shop. The marshland was used for horse races up to the early 19th century and was a regular haunt for smugglers. The area is excellent for birdwatching, so look out for ringed plovers, oystercatchers, Brent geese and common teal. Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Cley Marshes Visitors Centre offers a cafe and wonderful birdlife.

Suffolk Barn is a well-presented wooden holiday lodge, set within 300 acres of woodland and open heathland in Kelling, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within the Holiday Park you can access wonderful woodland walks, countless cycle routes, tennis courts and take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool (open from 25 May until 1 September) or indoor pool (open all year). There is a Fitness Club open every day at the gym, with a sauna and jacuzzi, a village shop stocking all the essentials and a restaurant and bar which offers a good range of food, drinks and entertainment.

All on one level, the lodge itself is a luxurious and comfortable space; it has all the mod-cons, with a well-equipped fitted kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, two bedrooms (king-size and twin single beds), and two bathrooms - the master bedroom's en-suite has a roll top bath! During the summer months, you'll want the french doors ajar to let the sights and sounds of the open heathland in, or sit on the decked area around the lodge listening out for birdsong and the whistle from the heritage steam train as it meanders through the countryside of Weybourne on its journey between Holt and Sheringham. It's quite a sight to behold as it twists and winds through the glorious countryside, and you're assured to see it if you make good use of the walks and cycle routes peppered around the Park. In the winter months you'll be able to hunker down cosily as the lodge is well-insulated and double glazed, with an electric flame fire.

Hand built by the owners, Teeswater is one of 5 shepherd huts onsite and offers a double bed, indoor seating area and small kitchenette. Kitchen facilities include an induction hob, toaster, kettle and fridge.

Spending time outdoors is of course a significant part of glamping, so guests will be pleased to know there’s outdoor seating available, along with a firepit/BBQ – perfect for roasting marshmallows!

Onsite shared bathroom facilities are available offering flushing toilets and individual showers, whilst there is a communal area with additional facilities.

Located in North Walsham, this cabin is in a rural area. Norfolk Motorcycle Museum and The Straw Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Cromer Pier and Felbrigg Hall. Sim-Air and Amazona Zoo are also worth visiting.
