The wider area offers wonderful walking and cycling routes with varying levels of difficulty. Venture further into Wales to Snowdonia National Park, or directly west to Cardigan Bay, or hop back over the border and explore the Shropshire Hills AONB.

Jessica is a wonderfully cosy Shepherds Hut with bedding and towels supplied. The hut consists of a comfy double bed, dining area, and the use of adjacent well equiped camp kitchen and toilet and shower block. A small camp stove provides facilities for drink making inside hut.
There is no TV reception in this Hut but it does have a good TV screen and DVD player
We provide bedding and towels. All you need to bring is yourselves.
Although the hut does not have a bathroom inside, it does have a very good shower block almost adjacent plus a well equipped camp kitchen with everything you need for camp cooking.
. Sitting area both outside the kitchen or in the Huts private garden area or in the Hut itself if you wish. The view and aspect makes this site unique and magically private for the perfect getaway break.
If you have dogs we do allow 2 small dogs in the hut. However please tell us the breeds on booking and don't forget to tick the dog box .
We charge £15 per dog per stay.
Tyn-y-fron is a 13 acre smallholding in the most beautiful setting .About halfway between Bala and Corwen we are half a mile from the road offering seclusion with the added benefit that we are not too hard to find.
We have hens, cats , a small hairy Jack Russell.. Our other neighbours include a wonderful selection of wildlife, including squirrels, foxes, hedgehogs and assorted small mammals. They may be hard to spot, but they will be watching you!
You will see soaring buzzards regularly, occasional red kite and other hawks, and a fine selection of song birds, including green woodpecker, jays and more besides.
Next door to the hut "Jessica" is lovely open grazing on which we have two LLamas!

The Showman's Wagon is a renovated 1950s fairground travelling-van overlooking the Mawddach Estuary near Dolgellau in the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
