After a busy day exploring the area, head back to the cottage which is accessed via its own private driveway separate from the owner s home. Head into the spacious open plan living area which is bright and welcoming. The lounge area is equipped with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for a night in with a movie. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self catered stay with a dining table that will comfortably seat four. Nestled against a wooded backdrop within 3/4 acre of open grassed space and with beautiful views of The Ridgeway, our Shepherd's Hut provides a peaceful and secluded glamping experience. The hut is environmentally friendly, with electricity provided by solar panels and leisure batteries, therefore while you will be able to charge mobile devices, other electrical items such as hairdryers will not be operable. Hot water and the gas hob are powered by LPG gas and a wood-burner is there to keep you warm on cooler evenings! There is a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, and a hot tub to relax in while enjoying the seclusion and tranquillity. A traditional kadai firepit is provided for outdoors cooking and then relaxing around along with outdoor chairs and table. Based on a working arable farm, there are horses in fields also on the farm, therefore we cannot accept dogs or other animals to the hut. To maintain the peaceful, natural environment, please note there is no vehicular access to the glamping area, you can be met by the owners on arrival and offered assistance down to the hut by an off road vehicle, while your car will remain safe at the farm.
